The author of this website grew up in a quaint farming community
away from most civilized folk. His parents were most proud when he
graduated high school with all of his adult teeth. This attribute won him
much fame in Alliance, Nebraska, so much so he got a full-tooth college
scholarship sponsored by the local rotary club.
With scholarship in hand he moved to the big city, Boston.
He was set to attend Boston University in the fall. It wasn't too long
before he fell in with the juggling sort and founded BUJA. In his junior year of study he had finally caught wind of the
future, with his earnings as an orange shredder at the college's Late Night
Cafe he bought his first computer. To appease the then supreme being
of home computing, William Henry Gates III, he devised the corporate name Impact
Juggling.
Since those early days in 1997, we have seen great things from
this man and his corporate vision. After graduation he mulled around the engineering
circuit before following his good friend Paul to the land of fruit and nuts, California.
While studying at an east bay university he taught many fine skills to many fine
people. For instance, the laws of gravity and principles of restitution
were shown to a room of happy partiers as he demonstrated that Shawn's bed is
not a trampoline.
For reasons not to be discussed here he ultimately left the life
of intellectual stimulation, work schedules of convenience, and abundant
gatherings with many great, active folk. Once again in the land where he
first made his mark, our author is striving to return to that special, metaphysical
realm, guided by the directions, "second star to the right and straight on til'
morning". His
efforts here are supported by a great family, a trusted set of worthy friends,
and a vision for a forever improving future.
Take from this what you will, most everything is based on fact -
albeit loosely (I was not born in Nebraska). At the end of the day, the author still has the remarkable
sense of style as reflected above and is more than happy with just one good
cookie.
